In
December of 2006 I gave a recital to showcase new material I had
written for small jazz ensemble. This piece is something
of a tribute to Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers.
Elegy
Elegy is a chamber jazz piece for horns, string quartet, and percussion.
Also premiered at my senior recital.

Reach
Me
Reach Me is a dramatic song cycle for soprano, tenor, and piano
with text by Katherine Lloyd. I had the pleasure of working with
my talented friends Patrick Massey, Rachel FitzSimons, and Katie
Cole who premiered the work at Patrick's recital in April 2008.
Last
Cigarette
From Puppets and Shadows (book and lyrics by Dana Dobreva).
This version of Last Cigarette was performed by Louise Brock
at my senior recital, backed by a jazz trio and string quartet.
electronica
Chapter
2
I haven't finished an electronica track in quite
awhile. Here is a new one, also penned for Lauren, much in the
tradition of Sigur Rós and The Album Leaf.
Blinds
This is a single off of Full of Stars' self-titled
debut album. I am responsible for the drum programming, the virtual
string orchestration, the mix: everything that isn't Jeff Fowler's
lovely vocals and guitar.
